Deleting your Nagi account
Version 1.0 · August 20, 2026
Nagi (iOS / Android) creates an anonymous account with no name and no email automatically at first launch. If you sign in with an email address, Google or Apple, it is the same account. This page explains how to delete the account and the data tied to it.
Delete from inside the app
1. Open Nagi and open Settings, the third tab at the bottom of the screen. 2. Under Account, choose "Delete account". 3. Confirm on the screen that follows.
Deletion works only while online. When it completes, the account and everything held for it on our servers is deleted.
What gets deleted
Deleting the account removes everything below from our servers (within a commercially reasonable period, except where the law requires retention).
- The account identifier, email address and display name
- Every per-night summary (date, minutes of loud sound, peak time, morning feel, tags and so on)
- The names of tags you added yourself
- The plan state (the purchase history itself is kept by the App Store / Google Play under each store's own terms)
Usage events exist only as aggregates and expire within 14 months. Crash reports expire in 90 days.
What stays on your phone
The audio of your nights, the night's shape and your marks were never sent to us; they exist only on the phone. Deleting the account does not touch them. Delete them from the app's Settings, or by removing the app.
If you cannot open the app
If you want the account deleted but cannot access the app, write to support@mynagi.jp from the email address you signed in with. After verifying it is you, we delete the same scope.
If you only want to delete some of it
- Recordings on the phone can be deleted at any time from Settings > Recording or from any night's own page (they also delete themselves after fourteen nights).
- To stop health readings, disconnect the health app; the reading stops.
The privacy policy has the full detail.
